Just a little something i wrote awhile back, during the hols and all.

What do you say when someone tells you that they do not miss you anymore? What can you say that no one else, in that situation, has said before? Your mind goes blank as you hear them speak and your mouth does not move because you do not know how to react because basically when someone says that they do not miss you anymore, you’re screwed. You feel the urge to say something, anything to make things better, but nothing feels right. So you say “I’m sorry” and you hope and pray that it works. But all that happens is that that someone walks away and you realize that “sorry” doesn’t cure everything.

Sometimes it’s easy to feel that you’re the only one in the world who’s struggling, who’s frustrated, unsatisfied and barely getting along. But that feeling’s a lie, and if you just hold on and find the courage to face it all for another day, someone or something will find you to make it all ok, because we all need a little help sometimes. Someone to help us hear the music in the world, to remind us that it won’t always be that way, that someone is out there and that someone will find you.
